Hi, my name is Colleen Kincaid and I amlooking forward to co-managing RobinHood this season. I have been workingat Robin Hood for 4 years and this willbe my first summer as a swim coach.I am a sophomore at York College ofPennsylvania and majoring in nursing.I have been a member of Robin Hoodfor 18 years and I am excited to managethis summer!
Hi, I’m Ashley Tock! My family has held a membership at Robin Hood for over 20 years so I’ve been going here my whole life. I’m currently a student at the University of Delaware where I’m studying exercise science and disability studies. This is going to be my 4th summer working at the pool as part of the lifeguard staff and I’m also the dive coach here. I can’t wait for a great summer!
Lifeguards & Staff Employment Information
Robin Hood Pool is now accepting applications for Lifeguards for the 2022 Summer season. Below is a copy of the job description, application form, and the Robin Hood Pool Code of Conduct. Please review these documents and submit a completed application to [email protected]. Questions can be directed to the pool manager at the same email address.
Accepted applicants will be notified by the Pool Manager and will receive a formal offer letter with additional information regarding training, scheduling and job responsibilities. Accepted applicants will need to also complete the following additional documents:
- Federal regulations require each employee to submit a Form I-9 (employment eligibility verification) and a Form W-2 (employee withholding allowance certification). Please follow instructions and submit with proper identification.
- For lifeguards under the age of 18, you will need to obtain a work permit from the State of Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations (DLLR). Click here to be directed to the DLLR website and information about obtaining a work permit – permits can be filed on-line but must be printed out and signed by both the lifeguard and a parent/guardian and submitted to the Pool Manager.
- For lifeguards 18 years of age and older, you will need to authorize a background check. Please fill out and sign this authorization form and return to the Pool Manager.
Final decisions about employment will be made by the Board of Directors of Robin Hood Pool in concurrence with the Pool Manager. Questions or concerns about employment decisions can be directed to personnel via email at [email protected]
